Food is the symptom,
not the problem.

You thought you did everything right... but you still binge and feel overwhelmed...

Break the Cycle is your way out of the emotional cycle with food - and yourself

You're not alone.

Most women come to me feeling

But food is rarely the issue.

It's a symptom of something bigger.

What if it's not
a discipline problem?

What if it's just a pattern?

What if:

Your body is responding to stress, pressure,
overwhelm and old survival strategies.

Until we understand the pattern, nothing changes.

We need to look beneath the surface.

CLIENT STORY

"I didn't
realise how
stressed I was."

Edina came to me after years of struggling with an eating disorder. She had been through an eating disorder facility, but the "cookie cutter", clinical approach didn't align with her.

She didn’t need another rulebook.
She needed to understand what her

body was trying to tell her.

Where she started

What changed

  • History of eating disorder recovery

  • Bloating, nausea, dizziness and physical stress

  • Her cycle had disappeared again

  • Constant pressure to hold everything together

  • Fear that slowing down would pull her back into old food patterns

  • Didn’t recognise how much stress her body was carrying

  • She started recognising stress instead of dismissing it

  • She understood how her body was speaking to her

  • She began prioritising rest without guilt

  • She felt emotionally lighter

  • She started rebuilding trust in herself

  • She began seeing food as part of a bigger pattern, not the whole problem

“The eating disorder recovery centre was very cookie cutter.”

This is where Edina realised she didn’t need more control.
She needed something more personal.

HER TAKEAWAY

Food was the symptom not the problem

On the outside, Edina was capable, driven and self-aware.

But underneath, she was carrying years of pressure, fear, emotional stress, relationship patterns, perfectionism and survival.

Food wasn’t the whole problem.
It was one of the places the stress was showing up.

Together, we focused on:

  • Understanding her body’s stress signals

  • Rebuilding trust with food

  • Processing guilt and old emotional patterns

  • Looking at how childhood shaped her self-trust

  • Supporting her body without forcing another rigid plan

  • Helping her feel safe enough to slow down

EDINA CAME TO HEAL HER RELATIONSHIP WITH FOOD

She didn't expect that it was all connected to her emotional and physical world, including her relationships.

Because food is often the symptom.
Not the problem.

MORE INFORMATION

This is what's been missing

If you’ve tried to change your body, your eating, or your habits through nutrition, discipline, or another plan… and still feel stuck, there’s usually a reason.

For many women, it’s not just about food.
It’s where stress, emotional patterns, and long-held behaviours begin to show up.

Which is why change doesn’t come from doing more — it comes from understanding what’s actually driving it.

This work looks at both.

Your body — and the patterns behind it.

So that food becomes easier… your mind feels calmer…
and you have the space to create a life that actually feels like yours.

Start Here

If something feels off in your body or your life… it’s not random.

There are patterns behind it.
And your body has been responding to them all along.

This guide will help you start to see what’s actually going on —
so you can stop second-guessing and start responding in a way that works.

This work is for you if:

  • You’re capable, responsible, and high-functioning

  • You’ve done “all the right things” for your health

  • You don’t want another plan, rule, or quick fix

  • You’re tired of fighting your body

  • You sense there’s a deeper pattern at play

Many of my clients are women and men in leadership, business, and professional roles who have spent years holding everything together.

I don’t do:

  • diets or calorie counting

  • 8-week challenges

  • mainstream medicine

  • telling you what to eat without understanding your life

  • reiki

I do inner work.

That means we work with:

  • the nervous system

  • subconscious patterns formed early in life

  • negative parental programming

  • body awareness and emotional regulation

  • food and body trust

  • and for women, the menstrual cycle as useful information — not an inconvenience

I sometimes call this sideways coaching — because when we stop attacking the symptom and understand the system underneath, things start to shift naturally.

If you’ve tried to change your body or your eating…
and you’re still dealing with symptoms like bloating, weight gain, stress, anxiety, or painful periods — or you just feel mentally and physically off — there’s a reason.

One client came to me because she was bingeing at night and wanted to lose weight.

What we actually worked on was her perfectionism and the role she learned early on to be “the strong one.”

As that pattern changed, her relationship with food settled — and so did her stress, her relationships, and how she showed up in her life.

Different symptoms show up for different people.
The root is often the same.

Everything looks right on paper.

The knowledge is there.
The effort is there.
The intention is there.

And yet…

Something doesn’t quite land.

Your body feels unpredictable.
Mind stays busy.
There’s a constant sense of pressure — even when things are being
“done right”.

It gets labelled as stress.
Or hormones.
Or just life.

But underneath it all, something isn’t sitting right.

Because this isn’t just about what’s being done.

It’s about what’s been driving it all along.

If you’ve tried to change your habits, your health, or how you feel in your body… and still find yourself circling the same patterns, there’s usually a reason.

For many women, it’s not just about what they’re doing.

It’s about the pressure they carry, the roles they’ve learned to play, and the patterns that have been running quietly in the background for years.

Change doesn’t come from doing more — it comes from understanding what’s actually driving it.

This work looks at both.

Your body — and the patterns behind it.

So that things begin to feel easier…
your mind becomes quieter…  and you can finally live with clarity instead of constantly trying to manage yourself.

Clients often say things feel different:

  • more settled

  • clearer

  • less reactive

  • more trusting of themselves

  • more certain about what their body actually needs

When the nervous system settles, the body doesn’t need to shout.
